The Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry at Lund University is inviting applications for a Doctoral student in Chemical Physics.

About the position:
  • Operation of time-resolved spectroscopy set-ups;
  • development and optimization of Pump – RePump addition to the set-up;
  • investigation of ultra-fast dynamics in Fe-based transition metal complexes;
  • coherent control measurements of energy dissipation pathways in selected Fe-based transition metal complexes by means of existing experimental facilities;
  • analysis of conventional, Pump – RePump and coherent control experimental data;
  • Active participation in the collaborations within Fe-carbenes scientific consortium.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must hold Master’s degree in Physics, Chemical Physics, Molecular Spectroscopy, Optics or equivalent.
  • Experience in time-resolved spectroscopy
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.

Duration: 04 years
