The Royal Institute of Technology, School of Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH Royal Institute of Technology have a Doctoral position in Molecular Biotechnology.

About the position:
  • The project will take the next step based on our previous method and develop the next generation methods.
  • The focus will be on the development and evaluation of methods that allow the spatial analysis of DNA molecules in tissue as well as the application of existing and new technology to prostate cancer.
  • The selected candidate will study cancer and normal tissue with a whole new tool to describe the heterogeneity that exists, which opens up the possibility of discovering completely new treatment options.
  • The PhD student will work in Joakim Lundeberg’s research group at SciLifeLab, located at the Karolinska Institutet.
  • The doctoral student will be supervised by: Joakim Lundeberg with support from other members of the research group.

Eligibility:

  • The applicant must have basic graduated at the advanced level, completed course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits, or in some other way, acquired within or outside the country essentially similar knowledge.
  • Requirements for English equivalent to English B / 6.
  • Laboratory experience and previous work on DNA and RNA.
