EAR-PF: EAR Postdoctoral Fellowships: NSF – National science foundation is announcing call for application under a revised version of NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 16-1).
EAR-PF PROGRAM Overview: The Division of Earth Sciences (EAR) announces Postdoc Fellowships to doctoral degrees holders to conduct an integrated programme of independent research and education. The individual research and education plans of each fellowship recepiant must address scientific questions that comply within the scope of EAR disciplines.
The grant program supports researchers / candidates for a period of up to 2 years. The fellowships can be carried to the institution of their choice (that include facilities abroad). This program is intended to recognise beginning investigators or students of significant research potential, and facilitate them with mentorship, research experience and training enabling them to establish in leadership positions within the Earth Sciences community worldwide.
Fellowships are awards to individuals students and not to institutions, and therefore are administered by the Fellows.
