Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships: Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarships in Australia for International Students

International applicants are provided with financial support to undertake a postgraduate qualification at a Masters or PhD level in any field, through the scholarship. The qualification can be completed either by coursework or research in Australia for duration of up to 4 years.

The Higher Education Institutions of the Australian Government or Universities in Australia would serve as the host institutions for the scholarship program.

Scholarship value: The scholarship amount is-

  • For Masters program- up to $140,500
  • For PhD- $272,500.

The award includes:

  1. Travel allowance ($AUD 3,000),
  2. Establishment allowance ($AUD 4,000),
  3. Monthly stipend ($AUD 3,000; up to maximum program duration on a pro-rata basis).
  4. Health and travel insurance will also be provided for international recipients.
  • Tuition fees paid up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis. Tuition includes student service and amenities fees.

 Scholarship duration: The duration of the scholarship is

  • up to 2 years for a Masters and
  • up to 4 years for a PhD.

 Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must:

  • be 18 years of age or over at the staring of their program
  • be a citizen and/or permanent resident of a participating country (listed above)
  • start their proposed program after 1 January 2020 and no later than 30 November 2020.
  • Applicants who have already started or will start their intended program prior to 2017 are not eligible to apply
  • provide all required supporting documentation
  • Since 1st January 2016, the applicants should not currently hold or have completed an Australian Government sponsored scholarship and/or fellowship (directly administered to recipients by the Australian Government)
  • should not apply for a category in which they have already completed an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship.

How to apply:As part of the eligibility requirements,

  • The applicants must attach a formal admission letter from their proposed Australian institution.
  • A conditional admission letter will be accepted at the time of application.
  • The program opted must be for the 2020 academic year.
  • Applications are submitted through the Endeavour Online (EOL) system.
