Swedish Institute She Entrepreneurs Program for Women: She Entrepreneurs is a recognized leadership program for young emerging women social entrepreneurs in the Middle East & North Africa region (MENA) and Sweden.

Conditions for Eligibility

To apply to She Entrepreneurs you have to:

  1. have the drive, ambition and interest to use social entrepreneurship to implement a social business initiative that you have already started working on
  2. be a citizen of the countries listed below
  3. be between 20 and 36 years old
  4. have a good working knowledge of both written and spoken English.
Selection Criteria:
A selection committee consisting of staff from the Swedish Institute:
  1. Applicant’s social business initiative that will be the focus of the program
  2. Applicant’s application
  3. Assessment of the applicant’s CV.

 Eligible countries

Citizens of the following countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions:
Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine*, Morocco, Sweden, Syria, Tunisia or Yemen.

No. of awards: 28 grants will be awarded

Duration: two and a half weeks
