The University of Exeter is recruiting for eight (8) fully-funded EngD studentships to start as soon as possible. University is seeking top-class motivated graduates ready to help solve sustainability problems in industry through research with the University of Exeter.

EngD researchers are awarded an International Engineering Doctorate, jointly by the Universities of Exeter, Warwick and Cranfield.

Benefits: The fellowship will cover a stipend of £20,277 per annum, research costs and tuition fees at the UK/EU rate for students who meet the residency requirements outlined by the EPSRC.

Requirements

  1. Honours degree, or the equivalent qualifications gained outside the UK, in Engineering, Materials or Chemistry.
  2. If English is not your first language you will need to have achieved at least 6.0 in IELTS and no less than 6.0 in any section by the start of the project.

Application Procedure

In the application process you will be asked to upload several documents.

  1. CV
  2. Letter of application (outlining your academic interests, prior research experience and reasons for wishing to undertake the project).
  3. Transcript(s) giving full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained (this should be an interim transcript if you are still studying)
  4. Names of two (02) referees familiar with your academic work. You are not required to obtain references yourself. References will be directly from your referees if you are shortlisted.
  5. If you are not a national of a majority English-speaking country you will need to submit evidence of your proficiency in English.

Interviews will be held at Streatham Campus in the week commencing 17 September 2018.
