Pay scale : With Ph.D.: Rs. 42000/- per month With M.Sc.: Rs. 35000/- per month

Educational Qualifications: First Class in M.Sc. with Ph.D. as desirable qualification in the relevant discipline.

How to apply: Filled in application in the prescribed format along with the original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the relevant certificates should be produced at the time of walk in interview at NIT Puducherry, Thiruvettakudy, Karaikal – 609 609

General instructions:

1. The nature of appointment is purely temporary for a period of one semester (odd semester- July to December, 2017).
2. If selected, one month notice is required on either side to quit the post during the said tenure.
3. Preference will be given to the candidate having Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Consolidated remuneration is fixed at the time of joining will not be changed during the period of appointment.
6. The selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
7. Canvassing in any form will render a candidate ineligible.
8. Institute reserves the right to select or reject a candidate without assigning any reason/s thereof
