Full Professors Position at RIKEN Center for Brain Science (CBS): RIKEN, The RIKEN Center for Brain Science (CBS) was launched in April 2018 following the strong 20-year foundation of its predecessor, the Brain Science Institute (BSI).CBS invites online applications from eligible bright outstanding neuroscientists for Team Leader (Principal Investigator position) Center for Brain Science(W19119) positions (equivalent to U.S. Assistant or Associate Professors), the open faculty positions (Neuroscience in general).

About the Position: Team Leaders have full intellectual independence, generous internal funds including a highly competitive start-up package and access to ample communal facilities in a collaborative environment at RIKEN CBS. Selected candidates will hold a research management position, and as the head of a laboratory, s/he will provide leadership and guidance to laboratory members to conduct research.

Salary: According to agreement

Duration: 1 year fixed-term employment contract, renewable based on annual evaluation upto March 31, 2025.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree in the neuroscience (molecular, cellular, circuit, systems and/or higher cognitive levels using any model animals and/or involving human subjects) with ability to conduct world-class research by taking advantage of the excellent research environments of CBS and RIKEN.
