Fully-funded Corridors Fellowships in Social Science 745 views

The Friedrich Schiller University invites applications for Corridors Fellowship to young and established scholars from conflict-affected societies in the post-Soviet space. The opportunity is there for a research stay at the University in Jena (Germany). The program aims to facilitate academic exchange and to enhance dialogue and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:
  • Applications are welcomed from scholars in the field of Social Science and neighbouring disciplines
  • Applicant must demonstrate a keen interest in peace and conflict studies.
  • Applicant must hold PhD degree and established academics from the area of the eastern partnership and Russia.
  • A particular focus lies on researchers from regions with limited international engagement.
  • Selected fellows will be based at the chair of international relations which has a strong focus on conflict prevention, mediation, peacekeeping and secession.

Duration: 01 month

Fellowship value: fully funded; equipped working desk, access to the information infrastructure and the opportunity to participate in activities including an international summer school in September 2019.
