The University of Cambridge world’s fourth-oldest surviving university is inviting graduate students to apply for Smuts Cambridge Scholarship. The funding is being partnered by Smut Memorial Fund.
The aim of the scholarships is to help talented students who need monetary help to achieve their desired future.

The Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust and the Smuts Fund annually funds up to 2 international students on PhD courses.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicants must have their research in the fields of Arts, Humanities or Social Sciences as well as it must relate to a Commonwealth country or countries excluding the UK
- The applicant must be a citizen of any country outside the EU
- The applicant must be liable for fees at the overseas rate
- The applicant must apply to study a PhD at the University of Cambridge and be offered admission
- The applicant must complete Section B of the application form to indicate that s/he wishes to be considered for scholarship funding.
- The applicant must submit the completed application by the deadline
- The applicant should suggest a PhD research topic that is specifically related to a Commonwealth country or countries excluding the UK.
- The research topic should be from the fields of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
- Applicants must have excellent writing and speaking English language skills.
- The following scores should be provided as evidence for the English language proficiency requirement:-
- TOEFL IBT 90 scores
- IELTS 7 scores
