The Helmholtz International Epigenetics Research School is an international and interdisciplinary graduate program centered on epigenetics research at Helmholtz Zentrum München and is inviting applications for several PhD positions.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants require a University Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) to apply.
  • However, if candidate has a four year Bachelor’s degree without a Master’s degree and wish to apply, please contact the Research School Office.
  • Applicants still studying for their Master’s degree may provide a provisional certificate or bona fide statement from the University stating the marks already obtained and estimated graduation date.
  • Applicants accepted in the program are required to have completed their Master’s degree before they can start their PhD work in the program.
  • Applicants accepted within the program have to start their PhD work latest in fall 2020.

  • A Master certificate and transcript of records in original and an official English translation
  • A Bachelor certificate and transcript of records in original and an official English translation
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Non-native English speakers are recommended to provide us with proof regarding their English proficiency
  • If candidate has taken a GATE exam or GRE test, it is recommended that he/she submit those with the application.
