The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) is established by the Reserve Bank of India. It is the premier Institute of Banking Technology in India.

Required qualification
- Candidates for all positions must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems or Information Security or Banking Technologies or Closely Related any other Areas with a Ist class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch
- A consistently good academic record throughout is necessary.
Specialization
Candidates should have specialized in at least one and /or preferably in two or more of the following mentioned areas and should also have a keen interest in applying their knowledge in the field of Banking Technology:
