Duration: 3 years; may be extended
Fellowship value: Rs.28,000/-p.m. for First and Second year; Rs. 30,000 pm for third and fourth year (consolidated)
Qualification:
- Applicant must hold M.Tech. (Geomatics/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geo-informatics) /B.E or B.Tech (Mining /Geo-informatics/Geo-sciences) with minimum 60 % marks
- Desirable work Experience: Minimum one year of R&D / field experience in similar nature of job
- Age limit: 30 years; relaxation in age can be considered for suitably qualified and experienced candidates if so recommended by selection committee. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates on production of appropriate certificate from authorized Govt. agencies.

- The candidates are required to bring the original certificates along with one Xerox copy of all the documents along with their CV.
- They have to be present at least one hour before the commencement of interview
- The interview will be held in the conference room of Dept. of Mining Engineering on March 15, 2017 at 11.00 AM.
- The selected candidate is required to enroll for PhD programme at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad as per institute rule applicable to project fellow
