IMD MBA Scholarships; International students 1851 views

IMD offers a several MBA scholarships and applicants may apply to many simultaneously, but only one scholarship can be granted per candidate.

List of Scholarships

MBA Class Scholarship for Emerging Markets:

• CHF 200’000 (to be divided between the winners of the scholarship). This scholarship is for developing countries nationals.
• Demonstrate financial need by completing the Financial Aid Application
• Excellent academic results (GMAT)
• Strong reference letters
• Balanced career progression

Staton Scholarship:

• CHF 50,000/applicant
• This scholarship is for applicants from South America (except Brazil), on condition that the candidate will return to his/her country for at least three years after graduation.
• Demonstrate financial need and submit a 750 word essay on “The role of entrepreneurship in moving my country forward and my contribution to that goal.”

IMD MBA Future Leaders Scholarships

• 3 scholarships are available
• Amount: CHF 30,000
• Applicants must demonstrate exceptional leadership understanding.

IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships:

• Number of scholarships: 5 (Five)
• Amount: CHF 30,000
• This is for the nationals of (but not necessarily current resident): Asia, Africa/Middle East, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Western Europe/North America/Oceania (1 each).

Nestlé Scholarship for Women:

• One scholarship is available @ CHF 25,000.
• Preference is given to applicants from developing countries.
• Demonstrate financial need

Jim Ellert Scholarship:

• Number of scholarship: 01
• Amount: CHF 20,000
• Applicants from Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and the South-Eastern Asian Peninsula will be preferred.
• Demonstrate financial need
• Submit a 500 word essay on “Why I would like to do an MBA at IMD”
• The quality of the admission application will also be taken into consideration

Stewart Hamilton Scholarship:

• Number of scholarships: 01@ CHF 20,000
• This scholarship is for applicant who has understanding of corporate governance and corporate responsibility.
• Demonstrate financial need

IMD MBA Merit Scholarships:

• Number of Scholarships: 05
• Amount: CHF 10,000
