iMM Call for la Caixa Junior Leaders is a new Postdoctoral fellowship programme. The outstanding post-doctoral researchers are invited who wish to continue their research careers at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (iMM), Lisbon, Portugal. The potential candidate will be invited to apply for “la Caixa” Junior Leader fellowships programme with iMM as the Host Institution. The candidates must be excellent researchers in terms of the originality and significance of their contributions, as well as having the leadership skills to head their own research group in the near future.

Eligibility:

• Applicants of any nationality who have obtained their doctoral degrees 2 to 7 years prior to the deadline are eligible to apply
• Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Portugal for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
• The candidate may request an extension of the period in which the doctoral degree must have been obtained, in case of maternity/paternity leave (1 year for each child) or sick leave longer than three months.

Duration: 03 year full-time contract
