The Freie Universität Berlin with the aim of strengthening scientific cooperation and exchange between Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) is offering funding for short-term visits to JNU and IITB.

Rationale of Funding:
  • Initiation of new research collaborations with existing or new partners
  • Preparing joint applications for third-party funding with existing partners
  • Participation in research workshops and conferences
  • Research and teaching stays
  • Initiation of new collaborations in the form of explorative fact finding missions
  • Training visits for program managers and administrative staff

Requirements:

  • Applications are open to projects by professors, postdoctoral and doctoral students, employees in administration, and graduate students.
  • The funding is awarded on a competitive basis

Applications should be submitted in English or in German and should not be longer than 3 pages. Attach the following information:
