IRB Barcelona is inviting application from a highly motivated candidate for a Postdoctoral position to join the Stem Cell and Cancer group. The group is headed by Salvador Aznar Benitah.
Responsibilities:
- The selected postdoc will be involved in developing an ambitious project aimed at understanding how the epigenetic landscape of stem cells responds to different systemic cues, and how these changes affect stem cell function in the long-term regarding aging and cancer.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have experience in epigenetic studies and proteomics will be strongly valued; bioinformatic analysis (NGS) and at least one strong publication as a first author from the PhD period
- Applicant must have PhD degree in life sciences with strong background in mouse models
- Applicant must possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Applicant must demonstrate good organizational and communication skills
- Applicant must be able to work independently (managing the project, supervise students, manuscript writing)
