Keele has a long history of welcoming Kenyan students to campus and offers academic excellence within the Kenyan student community; university offers one full tuition fee scholarship to a Kenyan student applying for an M.Sc in Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology.

Keele-Kenya Scholarship covers:

  • Full tuition fees for one year
  • On campus accommodation
  • Contribution toward living expenses
  • One return airfare from Kenya (economy class)

Eligibility:

  • Scholarship is only available for the M.Sc Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology subject areas
  • Nationality of candidate must be of Kenya origin and not currently be living or studying in a developed country.
  • Candidates who have already had the prospect of studying for one year or more outside of Kenya will not be eligible.
  • Candidates must have a First Class Honors Degree
  • Candidates must establish merit in  the following areas: Academic qualifications, English Language fluency, Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele, Extra-curricular or work experience in a relevant field

Exclusions

  • This award is for international fee payers only and cannot be joint with any other University funded scholarship or bursary which is envisioned for international fee paying students. In cases where an applicant is eligible for more than one award, the highest value award will be applied.

How to apply:

  • Candidate must complete a separate scholarship application form
  • Return the completed scholarship application form to international@keele.ac.uk

The International Scholarships Panel, which consists of Academic and International Office staff, will evaluate the applications after the deadline has passed. Only one application may be made and any applications made after the relevant deadline will be considered on a case by case basis. The Panel’s decision shall be final.
