London Metropolitan University Scholarship – India 2016
London Metropolitan University is working with the British Council to offer a total of five partial scholarships in support of the UK Government’s GREAT campaign, the most ambitious international campaign ever The GREAT LMU Scholarship – India 2016 is meant to help exceptional applicants from India, who have never before studied in the UK,. A range of partial scholarships for both bachelor’s and master’s programs are offered.
Scholarships:
Undergraduate partial scholarship – (Bronze):
- This partial scholarship will award 1 exceptional applicant £5,000 to cover the tuition-fee for the Ist year only.
- The remaining tuition-fee as well as maintenance costs has to be funded by the student.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must have an unconditional/conditional offer to study an UG course at Guildhall Faculty of Business and Law in September 2016.
- Applicant must have scored over 85% in 10th and 12th or equivalent.
- Applicant must have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or SELT equivalent.
- Applicant must be an Indian national with international fee status.
- Applicant must not have studied in the UK before.
Postgraduate partial scholarships – (Silver)
- This partial scholarship will be granted to 3 brilliant applicants £5,000 to cover the tuition-fees. The remaining tuition-fees as well as maintenance costs have to be managed by the students.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must have an unconditional/conditional offer to study a taught, one year Master’s course at London Met in one of the following faculties: a. Sir John CASS School of Art, Architecture & Design OR Faculty of Life Sciences and Computing.
- Applicant must have scored over 70% in a Bachelor’s degree from a good University from India.
- Applicant must have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or SELT equivalent.
- Applicant must be an Indian national with international fee status.
- Applicant must not have studied in the UK before.
Postgraduate partial scholarship – (Gold)
- This partial scholarship will awarded to 1 outstanding applicant £10,000 to cover the tuition-fee. The remaining tuition fee as well as maintenance costs have to be managed by the student.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must have an unconditional/conditional offer to study a taught, one year Master’s course at London Met in September 2016.
- Applicant must have scored over 75% in a Bachelor’s degree from a good University from India and 75% above in 10th and 12th (consistent academic grades).
- Applicant must have an overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component or SELT equivalent.
- Applicant must be India citizen with international fee status.
- Applicant must not have studied in the UK before.

- The last date of submission a scholarship application form is 22 July 2016.
- Students who have a conditional offer when applying for the scholarship must submit all the required documents to meet any conditions of their offer by 19th August 2016.
