University of Lausanne, Faculty of Biology and Medicine and Neuroimaging Research Laboratory (LREN) invites applications for TWO Postdoctoral Fellowships. The positions are suitable for highly talented and motivated candidates with interest in AI applied to brain health.
Starting date: September 2018
About the positions:
The aim of the project is to:
- Develop generative models of brain anatomy and function to understand behavior in the normal and diseased brain
- Assess retrospectively and prospectively the clinical utility of AI and machine learning.
Requirements
- Applicant must hold PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Applicant must have excellent programming skills including software design.
- Applicant having previous experience in the field of Bayesian statistical modeling and longitudinal analyses and machine learning, deep learning and reinforcement learning would have advantage.
- Applicant must have expertise with Python library framework for data analyses (numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib ) and machine learning (scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras, pytorch)
- Previous experience in neuroimaging is a plus
