Ludwig Armbruster Fellowship Program: Doctoral 1520 views

Ludwig Armbruster Fellowship Program by the Freie Universität Berlin and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. These universities established the Ludwig Armbruster Fellowship Program with a generous support of the Zoologischer Garten Berlin AG.

This Fellowship Program offers research fellowships to doctoral students enrolled at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem who wish to pursue parts of their doctoral research at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).

Duration and Fellowship

  1. Duration of each fellowship: applicants can choose their preferred duration of the fellowship (ranging between a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months)
  2. Fellowship amount: € 1.500 per month, plus a one time relocation allowance of € 1.000
  3. Eligible academic fields: veterinary medicine, biology, ethics, history.

Qualifications / Requirements

  1. Candidates must be enrolled as doctoral (PhD) students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and pursue their doctorate in one of the above mentioned academic fields at the time of application.
  2. Residency in Berlin is required during the fellowship, the fellowship holders will be affiliated with Freie Universität Berlin as guest researchers and must have their host supervisors at Freie Universität Berlin in one of the eligible academic fields.
  3. Fellowships are awarded on an annual basis.
