The Faculty of Theology and Religion at University of Oxford invite applications from suitably qualified applicants in this year’s Marie Curie International Fellowships scheme, for awards to be taken up in Autumn 2019. The scheme is designed for researchers “looking to enhance their career development and prospects by working abroad”.
Duration: 1 to 2 years
Funds: provide an allowance to cover living, travel, and family costs
Eligibility:
- Applications are open to researchers with a PhD or with at least four years’ full-time research experience by the time of the call deadline.
- Applicant must not have not have resided or worked in UK for more than 12 months during the three years up to the closing date of the call.
Applications:
- Application to be sent to haf@theology.ox.ac.uk with the following documents:
- A statement of eligibility (i.e. a free text justification of research experience and meeting of residency criteria)
- The name of a Faculty mentor. Ask the mentor to write a reference for the Faculty, confirming that they would be happy to act in this role.
- A detailed CV
- A proposal of max 2 pages outlining the following:
- Introduction, state-of-the-art/research context, specific objectives and overview of the proposed project.
- Research methodology and approach: highlight the type of research / innovation activities proposed.
- Originality and innovative aspects of the research programme: explain the contribution that the action is expected to make to advancements within the action field. Describe any novel concepts, approaches or methods that will be implemented.
- Interdisciplinary aspects (if relevant).
