The Center for Quantum Devices at the University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in experimental quantum information at the Center for Quantum Devices and Microsoft Quantum Copenhagen. The institute is a basic research center supported by the Danish National Research Foundation, comprising materials research, experimental physics, nanoelectronics and condensed matter theory. The Microsoft Quantum Copenhagen is a research center sponsored by Microsoft Research aimed at developing topological quantum information processing hardware.
About the position:
- The Postdoctoral Fellowship will be dealing with experimental implementation of solid state quantum information systems.
- Research involves nanofabrication, cryogenics using a cryofree dilution refrigerator, rf and microwave electronics, data analysis, interaction with theoretical physicists, and aptitude for scientific writing in English.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold PhD in Physics with relevant experimental experience.
- The position is open from 16 October, 2018 or, by arrangement.
- The duration is two years with the possibility of extension.
