Particulars of the Positions

Name of the Position: Project Scientist ‘C’

Minimum Salary: INR 15600

Pay scale: INR (Rs.15600 + G.P.6,600/- +other admissible emoluments as per DST guidelines.

Educational requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology with first class (60%) from a recognized University or equivalent.
  2. Three (03) years of experience in teaching (at graduate/post graduate level) or research and development in the field of Geology/Geophysics/Seismology/Earthquake related studies supported by scientific publications.

Desirable qualifications:

Doctorate Degree in the relevant subject or area of specialization ii) Exposure to seismological/geophysical and geological data analysis and their interpretation and implementation of R&D projects.

Educational requirements:
