Scholarship value: an amount worth $1000 would be given and an additional $3000 to cover the tuition fee

Benefits of the Scholarship:

  1. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees paid and $1000 pa for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree
  2. The scholarship would be given on the basis of academic achievements
  3. An Additional $3000 one-off payment would be given to international students in their 1st year of study to contribute to travel and relocation costs
  4. In order to retain this scholarship the applicant must:
  5. maintain full-time (48 credit points) study load
  6. maintain a credit average (60% or above) each semester

Number of Scholarship: Variable scholarships are available depending on funding

Monash University was founded in 1958. It is the 2nd oldest university in the State of Victoria. It has a :-

  1. research and teaching center in Prato, Italy
  2. a graduate research school in Mumbai, India and
  3. a graduate school in Suzhou, China

Level of study: postgraduate

Subject Area: subjects offered by the university for the postgraduate level

Eligibility Criteria: the applicant must be:

  1. an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident, Australian humanitarian visa holder or an International student
  2. a postgraduate student who is enrolled or intending to enroll full-time as a Monash Juris Doctor student, attending the Monash Law City Campus
  3. must have completed or are about to complete, an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification recognized for admission to the Monash JD program with a minimum GPA of 6.9/ 7.0 or LSAT score of above 170
  4. From one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups:
  5. Financial disadvantage
  6. Indigenous Australians
  7. Recent refugee
  8. Experiencing difficult circumstances
  9. From regional and remote areas of Australia
  10. Have a disability or long-term medical condition
