Overview

Project Scientist-B

Number of Vacancy: 20 Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s degree in Marine Sciences / Oceanography / Marine Chemistry / Marine Biology or its equivalent or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant subject from a recognized university or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
2. Desirable: (i) Experience in research & development in the specific fields of ocean biogeochemistry, nutrient cycle, carbon cycle, primary productivity and bio-optics, ocean acidification etc.

Pay Scale: INR 60413/- Per Month

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Vacancy: 3 Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s Degree in Physics/ Atmospheric Sciences / Applied Physics/ Electronics/ or its equivalent from a recognized university with a valid NET or GATE qualification. :
2. Desirable: Experience in Upper-lower atmosphere scientific data processing and analysis.

Pay Scale: INR 25000/- Per Month + HRA

Age Limit: 28 years.

Project Scientific Assistant

Number of Vacancy: 2 Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Physics/ Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Environmental Science or its equivalent from a recognized university with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
2. Basic knowledge of computer. Desirable: Experience in scientific cruise participation, oceanographic field data collection, preprocessing of marine biological / chemical samples for analysis.
3. Knowledge of handling and operation of physical, biological and chemical oceanographic instruments.

Pay Scale: INR 35640/- Per Month

Age Limit: 28 years.

Executive Assistant – Finance & Accounts

Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree from recognized University;
2. Operational Computer knowledge;
3. Six (06) years experience preferably in Government Department /Autonomous Bodies/PSU (iv) Should be well-versed in SAP Programme.
4. Desirable: (i) Masters Degree in Commerce/Business Administration (with specialization in Finance) from recognized University/Institute; (ii) Completed Inter CA/ICWAI.

Pay Scale: INR 35400/- Per Month + HRA

Executive Assistant – Purchase & Stores

Number of Vacancy: 1 Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Bachelor’s degree from recognized University;
2. Operational Computer knowledge;
3. Six (06) years experience preferably in Government Department/Autonomous Bodies/PSU
4. Should be well-versed in SAP Programme.
5. Desirable: Diploma in Material Management from recognized University/Institute.

Pay Scale: INR 35400/- Per Month + HRA

Age Limit: 35 years.
