National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur) invites applications from Indian nationals for faculty positions of Assistant Professor

• Mechanical Engineering
• Metallurgical Engineering
• Mining Engineering

Salary: Rs.15,600- 39,100 with AGP Rs. 6000/ 7000/ 8000, PB-3 in sixth CPC (under revision) in various departments of the Institute.

Requirements:

For Engineering Disciplines:

• E./B. Tech. or equivalent and M.E./ M. Tech. or equivalent with Ph. D. in relevant/ equivalent discipline with first class in the preceding degrees. BE/B Tech with direct PhD with first class in preceding degrees may also be considered.

For Architecture Departments:

• Arch or M.Plan. with one year professional experience for Assistant Professor at Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000;
• Arch or M.Plan with two years of professional experience for Assistant Professor at Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 7000;

For Non-Engineering Departments:

• PhD degree in the relevant or equivalent discipline with first class in preceding degrees.

Age Limit: not to exceed 60 years.

Period of Probation: 01 year.

• A print-out of the application form obtained from the on-line portal must be duly signed by the candidate and to be sent to the Institute along-with self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents, testimonials and the proof of fees paid, etc.
• The duly completed application form, along with mentioned enclosures must be sent by speed/registered post or by hand, to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Raipur, Raipur -492 010, Chhattisgarh, India
• Portal for online application will be available from 20/10/2017 from 12:00 noon.
• Last date of receipt of hard copy of duly filled application form, along with all supporting documents, duly self-attested, and application fee details is by 05/12/2017 : 5.30 P.M.
