National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is inviting application for 35 Scientist / Engineer, Scientific Assistant.

Introduction

NRSC is one of the constituent Centers of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Program through satellite data acquisition, archival, processing, dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building.

It has 05 Regional Centers located at Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, Jodhpur & New Delhi to address region/area specific Remote Sensing application needs.

The Earth Station located at Shadnagar is being developed as a full-fledged Centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote Sensing activities.

Required Educational Qualification: 

1. Sc. in Agriculture Physics / Agricultural Statistics / Agricultural Meteorology / Soil Physics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/ Soil Science/ Agricultural Chemistry/Pedology in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.84 on a 10 point scale or equivalent. with B.Sc. in Agriculture.

Salary / Pay Scale: INR Rs.56,100-1,77,500/- Per Month

Age Limit: 18-35 years as on 05.02.2018.

Selection Procedure: 

1. The Qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Written Test/ Interviews.
