Two (02) Ph.D. or Postdoctoral Positions with a tentative specialization in Economics of Accounting at the Accounting Section of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel.

The department invites applications to fill two vacant positions for Postdoc or Doctoral Students with a specialization in Economics of Accounting.

Overview

As a member of the Analytical Accounting Group in Basel, you will benefit from the doctoral education program of our university and its partners. You will get the opportunity to present your work in internal workshops on a regular basis. The position also involves a limited amount of teaching and providing teaching assistance.

Requirements

  1. Doctor’s or a Master’s Degree with a focus on Accounting, Economics, or Finance,
  2. Have a background in analytical methods (mathematics, game theory, and/or contract theory).
  3. Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and German are a further requirement.
