NIT Puducherry Ph.D. ADMISSION NOTIFICATION for the academic year 2016-17: National Institute of Technology Puducherry. Applications are invited from highly motivated and research oriented candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programs. There are three types of PhD programs:
- PhD. program (Full Time) with Assistantship,
- PhD. (Full time) Sponsored and
- PhD. (Part Time)
Required EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
For Ph.D. in Engineering / Sciences:
- First class B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. Research in relevant discipline
- First class Master’s degree in Sciences/Humanities in the relevant discipline
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.5/10 for OC/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPAof 6.0/10 for SC/ST/PH category. A valid GATE/UGC/CSIR/NET score is required for full
time candidates.
Financial Assistance will be provided as per the institute norms.
