The PhD student will be responsible for:
- carrying out the main experiments and data analysis designed within the above-described project;
- development of new concepts/tools within the scope of the defined project;
- analyzing the generated data and preparing manuscripts based on the most important findings;
- carrying out the chiral metabolomics project in close collaboration with UNIGE and willing to perform on a regular basis for a three-month period research at UNIGE;
Selection criteria
- An excellent background in analytical chemistry, separation sciences, mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, or any closely related areas;
- Good communication verbally and in writing skills;
- Scientific communication skills including a pro-active scientific approach;
- Strong English language proficiency, and given the collaboration with UNIGE, a basic level understanding of the French language would be considered an advantage;
- A scientific presentation can be part of the interview process.
