University of Copenhagen is offering a PhD scholarship in organic chemistry at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science.
Starting date: 1 September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter
About the Project:
- The project is focused on organic synthesis-based desalination, using carbon dioxide and designer CO2-responsive molecules within 3+5 PhD program.
- The highly risking and bold challenge will help to pave the way for more efficient, easy, and cost-effective solutions to desalination and water purification, and thus provide an increased and safer acess to potable water for the world population.

- Chemical science (including organic-, and organometallic chemistry)
- Material science
- Polymer chemistry
- Catalysis
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a BSc degree with good results and good English skills.
- Applications with previous publications (if any) and relevant work experience would hold advantage.
