PhD Fellowship in Environmental Justice:NMBU 1002 views

Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and the Department of International Environment and Development Studies (Noragric) at the Faculty of Landscape and Society invites applications for a doctoral fellowship in International Environment and Development Studies (Environmental Justice).

The selected candidate is expected to start the doctoral studies in August/September 2017

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold research-based master’s degree with a GPA of B or better in a relevant field
  • Applicant must possess proficiency in English
  • Applicant with Research and/or working experience in developing countries will be considered an additional desirable qualification.
  • Applicant must demonstrate Interdisciplinary background; training in environmental governance, environmental sciences, ecological economics, or environmental law.

Duration: 3 or 4 years, depending on duty work for the department.

Salary: The salary starts at level 50 (NOK 435 100 per annum) and follows ordinary meriting regulations. There are additional fundings available for running expenses for the PhD studies.
