PhD in Scalable cell factories in membrane-based bioreactors at DTU: Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Bioengineering is offering a PhD in Scalable cell factories in membrane-based bioreactors for three years time bound and invites online applications from eligible candidates who are interested in engineering and Molecular microbiology and having strong background in Mathematical modelling of biological systems.

This PhD project will be executed partly at DTU Bioengineering, partly at DTU Chemical Engineering, and will contain elements of molecular microbiology, chemical engineering and applied microbiology.

Project: Scalable cell factories in membrane-based bioreactors.

Investigators: Claus Sternberg (DTU Bioengineering) and Krist Gernaey (DTU Chemical Engineering).

Position: Ph.D position

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Post Graduate Degree in engineering or academic experience equivalent to a master’s degree in engineering.

 

 

Desirable: Candidates with strong background in Mathematical modelling of biological systems , Molecular microbiology and microbial biofilm physiology will be preferred.
