Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) invites applications for a PhD position in Political Science – Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation.

About the position:

  • There is a temporary position available at NTNU Sustainability as a PhD scholar in Political Science
  • The position is available for a period of 3 years (one year of additional funding can be applied for, which will then include 25% compulsory work over the resulting 4 year period).
  • This is an educational position which will provide promising research recruits the opportunity for professional development leading up to a PhD degree.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have completed master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Environmental Politics, Development Studies or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have a strong academic record from their previous studies and must have a weighted average grade for the last two years of their master’s or equivalent education (corresponding to 120 ECTS credits) of B or higher in terms of NTNU’s grading scale.
  • Applicant must possess fluent English skills and proficiency in a Scandinavian language will be considered an advantage.
