About position: This position is to perform semi-independent research in mammalian meiosis using mice as a model organism. This involves the use of CRISPR / Cas9, CreloxP, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, RNAseq, and a number of other basic methods involving mice. The group works at Lundberg Laboratory, Medicinaregatan 9C, 413 90 GÖTEBORG, which provides all the necessary equipment to perform mammalian meiosis studies.

Position: Ph.D

Duration: 1year and may be renewed for a maximum of two years at a time.

Salary: As per norms.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have master’s degree (or equivalent) at an advanced level, or completed course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits, or otherwise acquired in or outside the country equivalent knowledge. Candidates who completed a degree at an advanced level in a relevant natural science subject or completed course requirements for at least 60 higher education credits at an advanced level in relevant natural science subjects will be consider with Special qualifications. Candidates are required to have Experience in studying mammalian meiosis, to have expertise in cell biology and microscopy and be Fluent in English.
