PhD Position in Neuroscience at Uppsala University: Department of Chemistry, Uppsala University invited applications from highly motivated individuals with an interest in sleep physiology and chronobiology for filling up the PhD position in Neuroscience to join the laboratory of Assoc. Professor Christian Benedict at Department of Neuroscience, Uppsala University to investigate the effects of night shift work on glucose metabolism, endocrine appetite control, and cognitive performance.
About the Positions: This research is highly interdisciplinary and the overall goal is to identify factors that can help to identify at-risk groups for the adverse health effects of night shift work.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have master degree in Biomedicine, Neuroscience with experience in field-work and/or experiments, Documented oral and written proficiency in English, Basic proficiency in Swedish, good collaborative skills. Candidates with experience in performing experiments in the field of sleep and chronobiology will be preferred.
