The Data Science & Analytics Research Group at the Computer Science Department of Eberhard Karls University Tübingen offers PhD Positions in Computer Science (Data Science and Analytics) (m/f/d; 100%, E 13, TV-L). The Research Group focuses on the qualitative assessment, interpretability, robustness and fairness of machine learning methods and their scalable applicability in real-life scenarios. The initial fixed-term contract will be for 3 years with possible extension.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a M.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Strong background in machine learning and statistics and excellent programming skills (preferably in Java, C++ and Python).
