The department of Chemistry– BMC at the Biomedical Center in Uppsala University invites applications for PhD and Postdoc Position in Biochemistry

Doctoral position:

Duration: 4 years, extendable to a maximum of five years

Qualifications:

• Applicant must have at least 240 credits (hp), or an equivalent basic university education.
• To be qualified for an education in biochemistry on a research level, applicant must also have passed courses in biochemistry or courses in subjects relevant for biochemistry of at least 120 credits or equivalent.
• Applicant must hold a science Master´s degree in biochemistry or molecular biology, or similar experience.
• Applicant must demonstrate in-depth knowledge in biochemistry is required.

Starting date: 2018-03-01 or otherwise agreed, temporary position

Postdoctoral position:

Qualifications:

• Applicant must hold a PhD in biochemistry, or an exam judged to be comparable to a Swedish Ph.D. in biochemistry.
• PhD must have been completed within three years of the application deadline.

Salary: Individually negotiated salary.

Starting date: Will be agreed

Duration: full-time; 2 years; Temporary
