The Department of Colloids Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in invites applications from outstanding young scientists for the position of PhD student and/or Postdoctoral researcher (m/f/d). The department is looking for a highly motivated PhD student and/or Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of materials science with major interests in electrochemistry, batteries and supercapacitors. The position will be in the framework of the ERC synergy project “Disruptive Modes and Materials of Energy Storage” (MoMa-STOR). The position is available starting from 1st October 2021.
Requirements:
- Candidate should have a degree in Chemistry-Materials Science or closely related fields, with an outstanding profile, a strong background and interests in Batteries, Electrospinning, Carbon materials, Electrode preparation, Electrochemical characterization, Thin films.
