The Department of Computer Science, Chair of Communication Networks at University of Tübingen is looking for a PhD student in Communication Networks (100%, E13 TV-L) at the earliest possible date. The position will initially be offered for two years.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out research projects
- Write project proposals
- Supervise student projects
- Contribute to teaching activities
- The possibility for further qualification (doctoral degree) is offered and encouraged.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold Master degree in preferably Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English
- Strong mathematical background and programming skills
- Enthusiasm for leading-edge research and a mix of creativity and persistence
- Team spirit
- Early publications are appreciated
