The Graduate University for Advanced Studies Sokendai is a National University in Japan. SOKENDAI is a graduate school that develops doctorate talent at 18 research institutes.

The Neuroethology Lab at Sokendai studies on insect vision by employing various methods including neurophysiology, molecular biology, anatomy and computer simulation.

Remuneration:

  1. Annual salary will depend on experience

Duration of the program:  1 year.

Note: the period of work would be renewable based on candidate’s performance and the budget.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The applicant must have a PhD degree
  2. The candidate should have a strong interest in studying insect vision mechanism
  3. Experience in experimental biology (neurophysiology, molecular biology, anatomy, simulation etc), and/or Programming
