Post-doctoral position: Diffuse optics for Cancer Therapy 1253 views

The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) is offering a research postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic scholar who is keen to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

About the project:
  • The selected candidate will be working at ICFO as part of both the Plasmon Nano-optics group led by Prof. Dr. Romain Quidant, and the Medical Optics group led by Prof. Dr. Turgut Durduran.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be highly ambitious, target oriented, self-driven and strong team-player.
  • Applicant must hold PhD degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) preferably in experimental optics.
  • Applicant must also have some experience in optical microscopy, optical instrumentation or diffuse optics for small animal imaging.
  • Applicant must have a proven track record of excellence in academics and experimental research.
  • There are NO restrictions of citizenship

Duration: 01 year; renewable for a total of up to three years
