Postdoc in Inflammation at University of Melbourne (UoM): The Melbourne Dental School is a one-department school, which is organised into five sections for teaching and research purposes offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne (UoM) invited applications from highly motivated researcher who can pursue a dynamic research program for filling up Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Inflammation at the Bio21 Institute, The Centre for Oral Health Research.

About the position: Selected candidates will involve combining skill in immunology, molecular cell biology, and animal experimentation to investigate host-microbe interactions in the oral mucosa with the objective of determining how the disruption of host-microbe homeostasis causes chronic inflammation and the development of oral diseases.

Location: Hospital based

Position: Postdoc, Level A

Salary: $72,083 – $97,812 (Level A)

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD in Immunology or related field with strong background in inflammation with   Experience with immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy, genetic manipulation of mammalian cells having  ability to work as a member of a research team and interact in a courteous and effective manner with academic, administrative and support staff. Candidates having Experience with ChIP-seq, including data analysis will be preferred.
