Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Stockholm, Sweden invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the Postdoc in Materials Chemistry available at the Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry to work on the project MistraTerraClean and the Vinnova financed project ” Facile and Scalable rGO Foam for Sustainable Industries”.
About the position: This position involves research on hydrochars derived from biomass for water treatment and CO2 capture, zeolites for biogas uppgrading, and to some degree CO2 capture using amine-modified materials.

Position : Postdoctoral Fellow
Duration: maximum of two years, with the possibility of extension under special circumstances
Salary: As per norms.
Subject: Interested candidates must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country or PhD in science or engineering with experience in hydrothermal synthesis of hydrochars and gas adsorption. Candidates with Experience in zeolite synthesis, studies of adsorption from water phase, X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy will be preferred.
