About the Position: Selected candidates will work under available in the lab of Dr. Joanne Matsubara, Dept Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Faculty of Medicine UBC. This project is proposing a novel approach to image retinal Abeta by using signals emitted by curcumin fluorescence (FL).
Position: Postdoc

Duration: 1 Year, with the possibility of extension.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in Molecular Biology, Biology, Medicine or relevant subject with strong writing skills to ensure high-quality scientific publications and grant applications. Candidates with Expertise in retinal imaging, molecular biological methods and protein analysis, expertise in animal models of Alzheimer’s Disease will be preferred.
