Postdoc in Molecular Biology at University of British Columbia (UBC): Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for Postdoc Position, Matsubara Lab, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

About the Position: Selected candidates will work under available in the lab of Dr. Joanne Matsubara, Dept Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Faculty of Medicine UBC. This project is proposing a novel approach to image retinal Abeta by using signals emitted by curcumin fluorescence (FL).

Position: Postdoc

Salary: as per norms

Duration: 1 Year, with the possibility of extension.

Closing Date: 31 March 2020.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in Molecular Biology, Biology, Medicine or relevant subject with strong writing skills to ensure high-quality scientific publications and grant applications. Candidates with Expertise in retinal imaging, molecular biological methods and protein analysis, expertise in animal models of Alzheimer’s Disease will be preferred.
