Overview

Postdoc positions are available in the laboratories of Dr. Helen Zgurskaya and Dr. Valentin Rybenkov at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of University of Oklahoma.

The Laboratory is looking for ambitious motivated scientists to study mechanisms of drug permeation in Gram-negative bacteria and roles of efflux transporters in physiology and drug resistance of various bacterial pathogens.

Project: This is a multidisciplinary project that spans several research institutions and groups aimed at new technologies in antibiotic discovery and development. We are particularly interested in researchers with training in biochemistry or computational biophysics. Experience with membrane proteins is desirable but not required.
