Multiple postdoctoral positions are available in the group for Functional Materials Imaging in the Section for Nan scale Materials and Devices at DTU Physics.
We are a young and energetic group with a vision to unravel fundamental structure-property relationships in functional materials via new and original characterization and analysis methods.
- We offer a positive, supportive and international research environment that values diversity, creativity, personal growth and impact.
- The projects involve close collaboration with theoretical and experimental groups, both within DTU and international.
- Regular travel to international synchrotron facilities is anticipated.
Are academically curious and think deeply and creatively - Communicate well in both written and spoken English

- Take responsibility for the progress and quality of their projects.
- Are willing to encourage and nurture young researchers in the group (PhDs, MSc and BSc students).
ELEGIBELITY CRITIRE
- Candidates should have a PhD degree or equivalent in a technical field, such as physics, chemistry, materials or mechanical engineering.
- Ideally, candidates should have experience with structure-property relationships in solid-state materials (e.g. ferroelectrics, multiferroics, or other functional oxides), or with materials characterization (e.g. x-ray scattering, electron microscopy or other materials imaging methods).
- The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
- The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is 2 years. The starting date is flexible; either ASAP or in 2021 – please state desired starting date in your cover letter.
