The Postdoctoral position is concentrated in pursuing research and guiding students in a project focusing on personal health libraries for consumers and patients, and recommendation systems. The study involves research on digital libraries, natural language processing, information retrieval, knowledge extraction and knowledge graphs, indexing and mining from text and images, mediated information integration, database systems and ontology-based inter-operation, social network analysis, and knowledge management in the area of health informatics. The position is available immediately or in the near future.

Subject areas: Computer Science, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or any other related fields.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in any one of these fields- Computer Science, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or  related fields..

Requirements:

• Excellent record of technical and achievements through publications
• Performances at national and international meetings.
• Research in related disciplines like medical informatics, digital libraries, data and text mining, information retrieval, information extraction, information integration, database systems, web information systems, machine learning, natural language processing
• Candidate must have a strong experience in software development and the ability to design.
• Conduct experiments to validate research hypotheses.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to guide Ph.D. students.
• Experience in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented technical atmosphere is required.
